Time-Limited Existential Mediation

Saturday 24th February 2018

24th February 2018, 10 – 4.30pm

About the Workshop

This course will act as an introduction to mediation and the special transferable mediation listening and ‘being-with’ skills. Understanding how mediation works can be very helpful for couple-work and for time limited existential therapy. This will also act as a good introduction to mediation for anyone who is thinking about working as a mediator.

Understanding conflict, working with emotions and the existential ‘givens’ such as uncertainty, temporality, relatedness and choice will be explicitly part of this form of mediation.

We won’t just be ‘talking about’ mediation; we will also give everyone the opportunity to practice with the use of case studies.
