Clash of Beliefs

Friday 17th May 2019

10-4.30pm

Let's acknowledge the Clash of Beliefs that occur today with changing paradigms around spirituality and wellbeing.  In this participatory workshop we explore cultural differences that may influence health outcomes for new migrants and refugees.  We raise awareness of different cultural understandings of body and self: participants are invited to discuss existential explanations for unusual experiences, mental health, and body dysphoria.  Our innovative workshop aspires to create a bridge between mainstream education and what people really do for their wellbeing.
