Emotional and Psychological Weight Loss

Saturday 13th October 2018

10am – 4.30pm

What will be covered:

  • The blocks to weight loss: Why even though you really want to lose weight, it just doesn’t seem to happen.
  • Why will-power alone won’t keep you on track, and what will make the difference.
  • What emotional eating really is and how to use your emotions to create change.
  • How you can become your own worst enemy and fight against yourself, and what to do about it.
  • How to harness your psychology and emotions to the body you desire.

This course will combine psycho-education to give you insights and answers to the questions “Why can’t I stick to a diet?” and “Why is it so common to put the weight back on once I have lost it”.

Most importantly we will include mind/brain strategies and psychological change techniques, to help you with emotional focusing methods that go beyond the traditional unhelpful ‘eat less and exercise more’ mantras, and take you into a more permanent life-style change.
