This workshop contains a mixture of professional and personal experience. It will contain the medical understanding of ADHD and co-occurrences and research based diagnostic procedures, treatment and consideration and suspected neurobiological mechanisms.

The workshop will cover the personal experience of a diagnosis, receiving therapy and identity. A discussion on ADHD as a social construct in the information age and the “age of diagnosis”

Howard has worked in neurodevelopmental NHS services for nearly 30 years and for tor the last 10 as a neurodevelopmental diagnostician. He received a diagnosis of ADHD at the age of 50 leading to reflections on his history of treatment for anxiety through psychological therapy.

This workshop is online and includes a CPD certificate.
