Practicing Existential And Humanist Pastoral Care

Participants will have the opportunity to explore and reflect on what non-religious pastoral care could mean for them personally and as a potential new career opportunity.​

In this workshop, Elizabeth Young, NSPC Course Leader MA/PG Cert. /PG Dip.  Pastoral Care: Existential and Humanist Practice, will describe existential and humanist pastoral care in different settings, outlining its theoretical underpinnings. Participants can find out about the practice skills involved in supporting people through moments of emotional and spiritual distress and joy.

This workshop is online and includes a CPD certificate.
